Not at all, it is heavy and expensive in my opinion

This is the dispute, you seem to think anyone who buys one is foolish or
wealthy (or both) will buy one and anyone who knows recumbents won't buy one
when you have no idea who so far has purchased one.

Why is it anyone who disagrees with you somehow has to have a relationship
with Bigha? So far you think all reviewers are now biased or corrupt and now
Larry Varney and I somehow have a connection to the company. Why did you
spend 30+ messages about this bike you do not like or want?

So why the hell didn't you say this in the first place, about 30 posts ago?

Yes, that is certainly what I think! And I base it on the power of
reasoning, something which you sorely lack.

He has to spend so many messages because of jackasses like you! Why the hell
don't you check yourself into a mental hospital and try to find out what is
wrong with you. We here on ARBR don't care to minister to your pathologies.
You are obviously nothing but a nut and a screwball. But I have yet to ever
encounter anyone who was into kill filing like you who was ever anything
but. God, you are just so predictable!

How many people experienced with recumbents have bought one? Not you,
not me. The last time this came up, the only person who claimed to have
bought one turned out to be a scumbag identity thief who turned out to
lying anyhow. Not even he was dumb enough to buy one. So has anyone out
there bought one? Speak up!

Varney does have a relationship. They are one of the sponsors of his web
magazine. You obviously have a strong emotional investment in this bike.
Why? I post messages because people ask questions and I answer them. Why
can't you answer some simple questions? Why are you defending this bike
you acknowledge is heavy and expensive and which you would never buy?

I am somewhat surprised that you take offense at a bike that is reportedly
overweight. You seem to proclaim that all this talk about speed is vastly
overrated. If more people rode overweight "comfort" bikes their speed would
drop to the levels that you espouse so regularly.:)

This may be hard for you to believe but not everyone who rides a recumbent
reads or even knows about this newsgroup

I seriously doubt Ed even rides much less leaves the comfort of his
computer, hey you DO know that R-50 is considered a heavy bike right? :)

My main complaint with the Bigha is actually the outrageous price, not the
fact that it is on the heavy side. A light weight bike has advantages even
if like me you are not into speed. It is simply easier to pedal, however
slow you are going.

No, but it's a large sample of the more experienced and knowledgeable
recumbent riders. Anyone bought a Bigha?

Its not even that, we have maybe 40-50 active posters (if that) in a market
of about 15,000 to 20,000 bikes (my guess)

Anyone bought one of these?

If not then it must be garbage that no recumbent rider would get if we use
your logic

You didn't miss my answer at all, you chose to ignore it, why are you so
fanatically opposed to this bike?

At $11,500 and only sold in Germany, I'm not surprised no one in this
mostly U.S. group has bought one. Couldn't you find anything more
expensive or more obscure? Really grasping at straws aren't you?

It costs way too much for a heavy comfort bike. See, simple answer. Now
where is your answer? Why are you are so fanatically defending this bike
you acknowledge is heavy and expensive and which you would never buy?

If they reduce the weight of the go-one^3 to 50 pounds and the price to
$3000 US (to match the BigHa), I will buy one.

Not that I see how it matters one way or another, but IIRC purchasers
have posted comments on BROL.

Zach Kaplan reviewd the bike in RCN in what I thought was a pretty
balanced review.

I am not buying one (but if I did, I don't think I would tell this
"group") but I am not _offened_ by this bike in any way. I think it is
interesting, but it doesn't seem like it would meet my needs that
well. There is lots of stuff I don't buy that others do. I believe it
is called a free market.

Even at 70 lbs, a carbon fiber monocoque velomobile would be a pretty
good deal at $3000 USD. At $11,500 USD plus inport duty, I don't think so.

$3000. for a 50 lb. bike! The line forms at the right. It is called Boobus
Americanus. As far as I am concerned Lorenzo L. Love is a genius and all the
rest of you are idiots. Please go out and purchase this g.d. bike so the
manufacturer can go laughing all the way to the bank! A fool and his money
are soon parted.

By the way, screw the free market if it is an uninformed market. And no,
Zach Kaplan is not the last word on how sensible people should spend their
money. He is strictly high end and price is never an object with him.

What is IIRC? I do not like abbreviation much unless it is universally known
what it stands for - like ARBR for alternate recreation bicycles recumbent.

But I do not mean just what is known by computer nerds, but what is known
"universally" by any educated person. Some examples would be U.S.A. for
United States of America or U.K. for United Kingdom or "etc." for and so
forth and "et al" for and others. Too much abbreviation destroys effective
communication and for what - just to save a few words. I do not like
sentences that read like some kind of alphabet soup. It offends my artistic
sensibility.
