Return of serve: Just like your disappearing act after Sir Lance got busted for using EPO ? Say it ain't so ! :p
Your return of serve just hit the net. I was around for plenty of that thread. I only quit posting after it got so boring and everyone kept saying the same things over and over again. Play on.

Chair umpire over ruled; Foot fault, second service: So you admit that he did use EPO ? That has to weigh heavily on the DC riders now... knowing they can't reach for the medicine cabinet like they have in the past.

There is a lot of racing to go in the Giro and all I'm saying is that DC better stick by PS.... any distractions with little TommyD will be a slap in the face for the great Italian..... lets wait and see, lets wait and see what unfolds....

Second service is an ACE. See for yourself. My last post on the Armstrong Dopes again thread in on page 53 out of 59 pages. I didnt go anywhere. And no I do not admit LA used EPO.

Code violation, racquet abuse: For someone who thought the thread was "boring" you seem to have an intimate knowledge of where your posting's are ! :p

One could suggest your back on this forum for the DC soap opera ? Failed bikes, one-day classic implosions, lack of support for 2 time Giro winners etc. etc. etc. Makes better reading reams and reams of evidence that Armstrong used EPO and US fans, with heads in sand, denying it.

Just as much as we Moderated
I really dont mind the fun and games and name calling---but where is the moderator who always SCREAMS when there are any ethnic or sexual referneces between posters. What a farce.

Moderators right here : WBT's message has been moderated (I wasn't available earlier to do - I was doing something else, namely cycling).

Disarray? Here's Yatesey:

Cyclingnews caught up with Discovery Channel DS Sean Yates and discussed who is top dog within the Disco camp, and the experienced Brit was quick to point out that it's all for Paolo. "It's clear from the start that Paolo is number one; there's no question about that," said Yates.

With an eighth place in last year's Vuelta a España, Danielson is certainly no slouch when it comes to racing big stage races, and Yates is aware that the former Fassa Bortolo rider will have his day at the top of Discovery's tree. But for now it's a case of 'Tom the worker bee' and that will only change if something drastic happens. "Tom is obviously up and coming and his objective is to be in the mountains when Paolo needs him. OK, if Paolo suddenly falls off and breaks his leg, then Tom's going to be our hope... but until something like that happens, it's clear that Paolo's number one," said Yates.

Rubiera beats Rebellin in a short cobbled climb?
Imagine what he'd be doing if he hadnt ridden for Lance the whole time. perhaps winning Fleche or LBL.
No disarray here.

Umm, Rebellin had a team mate up front so didn't need to chase, he stayed with the group and went for third....................

Begs the question what is Rubiera trying to take the pink off Il Falco.... he should of been in the buch protecting Savoldelli not shooting off the front trying to win stages.... this indeed is disarray.

Oh no ... That is wrong. Discovery has taken a page out of Riis book about team unity....... Bruyneel wants everyone to share the pink jersey. And it is a smart move too. It gives the riders a chance to feel what it is like on the podium. Confidence builder.
"A team that shares pink, wins pink."

Yep ..... That's what Bruyneel says.
And he is passing out stage wins too...... Rubiera had one of his chances today and didn't quite pull it off. But Bruyneel will offer him another one. Then we will see Danielson get his chance towards the end of the week.
It's an "Equal Oppurtunity Team."

Sometimes your critiscms are on the mark but this one is way off. By attacking Rubiera stopped dangerous people from getting time bonuses and could have won the stage if Schumacher wasn't so strong. It also gives DC a bigger buffer in the team classification.

This months Cycling Sport (Hincapie on the front) has an article about DC and the Giro.

And you've guessed it, CS says that although Savoldelli is supposed to be team leader of DC, it appears that Danielson is actually being regarded as DC's leader.

Even if that statement is speculative - the fact that it is in print in CS - actually undermines Savoldelli, I think.

Lim: I haven't seen this article yet, I'll try and pick up tomorrow. What concerns me is that Hincapie has put forward Danialson for the Giro and even more concerning that part owner of DC Armstrong is putting Savoldelli ahead for favorite for the Tour... this comment is obviously a subliminal attempt to put forward Danielson for the Giro (trying to appease Savoldelli ?) ...... I still think Discovery has a hidden agenda with Danielson and they are not coming clean about it. Indeed they are in disarray still. Time will tell.

I won't spoil the article for you, but it more or less corrobarates what you've been saying here all along about Danielson being touted as team leader over Savoldelli.

That other clown quoted paceline here earlier, all the time trying to make her case for Danielson.
So the rumour is out in the press.

Let's be clear - Danielson hasn't won anything that merits his being touted as
a leader of any team.
The Tour of Georgia - will all due respect - is kindergarden stuff compared to
performing in Europe in a stage race, never mind a GT.
This Giro is a learning exercise for the 25 year old.

We're not talking about Ullrich/Fignon/Hinault/Merckx abilities at 22 years old re Danielson.
He's still in the ha'penny place.
Despite the best effort of paceline.

Don't disagree with you Lim, but it's worth noting that the copy in that issue is ancient by the time it hits news stands. A lot has changed since then. Bruyneel has clarified a lot of what you are wondering about.

Granted - but the May 2006 CS edition refers to what WBT has been saying.

I accept things could have changed at Dc since.
