I amend my statement above in the light of this gem of wisdom from Mr.
Rehder to the following then:

Any Jew who does not fear and hate Arabs and Palestinians has got to have
rocks in
his head. Arafat is nothing if not a terrorist.

I sure am glad we have got all that cleared up.

My girlfriend is Dutch and usually reads the online copy of De Volksrant
to keep abreast of matters at home, and she hasn't seen fit to mention
that most of her family, friends, government and national press are
quaking in their boots as they are "bracing for Jihad".

Or, put another way, your perspective is rather skewed and you're trying
to equate the actions of a very few extremists with the normal views and
actions of /nearly a billion/ people who follow Islam (~960 million
according to my Atlas).

In the UK we've spent many years with a small group of Irish Republicans
saying quite plainly they were at war with us, and who went out of their
way to murder Britons and affect government policy. Yet during this
time the great majority of the Irish got on just fine with Britons and
relationships between the national governments were basically cordial.
You cannot point to well documented cases of a few bad apples and taint
the whole barrel with them. It is both dishonest and stupid.

Why don't you take up with that Muslim nurse you think is such a fine person
instead, or don't you want to get murdered yet?

Why are you dating a Dutch girl? Aren't the English girls good enough for
you? The Dutch don't like the English any better than the French do.

They are all a bunch of assholes, the same as you. But that is because they
are Muslims. What is your excuse.

The only thing that needs to happen to wake up this world class idiot is for
him to be confronted with an Islamic extremist, at which point he will be
permanently cured of his stupidity. Off with his head!

Usually all it takes to turn a liberal into a conservative is for him to get
mugged, preferably by a Black. But Peter is so incredibly stupid that he can
only be reformed by losing his head. There are any number of Muslims who
will oblige him in this regard.

Watch out for that Muslim nurse you are working with Peter. She no doubt has
a male relative who is going to feel himself dishonored by the mere fact of
you even knowing her. May your Christian God help you if you even look at
her sideways. You are then a dead man for sure. You will not only be shot,
but stabbed for good measure. That is to make sure you are truly dead. Those
peace loving Muslims are partial to cutting and sawing body parts with
blades. The more blood the better.

"... you nothings ..." What is that? You into making up words now along
with all your other idiocies?

Taxes should be progressive, but they should not be confiscatory. I remember
Richard Burton fleeing to Switzerland and living there because of the high
confiscatory taxes that prevailed in England.

Bzzzt! Wrong. As a sweeping generalisation, the Dutch dislike the
/Germans/ intensely, and not just because retreating German forces
"liberated" their bicycles in 1944. A group of us once got a mouthful of
abuse from a little old lady in a Lelystad supermarket. We were puzzled by
this, but things were soon straightened when, after apologising profusely,
she explained that she had mistaken us for Germans. The only Englishman
they're not too fond of, AFAIK, is Field Marshal Montgomery.

Why does it not surprise me that your girlfriend hasn't seen fit to mention
this to you. She obviously doesn't want to listen to your endless Islamic
rationalization blather.

Relationships are strained between the ethnic Dutch population and the
Muslim community. 10,000 Dutch rode their bikes (creating a bike jam) to
the public square of Amsterdam to protest the atrocity. They have the
courage to stand up to the Muslim Jihadist and abusers women and children
to say "We aren't going to take this".

The Dutch government echoes the will of the people - "We aren't going to
take this". Government officials threatened by the Muslims Jihadist have
been forced into hiding until proper protection can be arranged.

There was a suspicious fire at a Muslim mosque and a bomb threat was made
for a Mullin elementary school where it was said Muslim extremism is being
taught.

There's a bad moon rising in the Netherlands.

Let me make this clear to you. I AM NOT EQUATING THE ACTIONS OF EXTREMISTS
MUSLIMS, ISLAMIC GOVERNMENTS AND CLERICS WITH ALL MUSLIMS. If you point this
out to me again I will SCREAM. Once again my problem with the greater body
of Muslims is their reluctance to condemn the atrocities committed by the
extremists and the Islamic governments. Their silence, your silence,
Olson's silence, Sherman's support (may he spend eternity in a cave with
holy Muslim child killers) can only serve to enable these global atrocies.
I call on those 960 million Muslims to root these Jihads killers, cleric
child killers, women abusers, and Islamic governments ("bad apples" as you
prefer) out of their religion.

Public outcry against an atrocity is not the same as an outcry against
the entire religion of Islam.

You'd best scream then, because you're /still/ doing it. Apparently the
whole Muslim community in the NL have their relations "strained" with
the ethnic Dutch. All of it? Really? That wouldn't be a sweeping
generalisation, would it? (it is, just in case you weren't sure)

Apply the same standards to any other religion, and you won't come
across as having one rules for Islam and another for anyone else.

If you think you can take almost a billion people and make them all Very
Nice and/or think that they're all directly responsible for those that
aren't then your basic problem is you haven't really got a grasp of the
reality of human nature.
My problem with your stance isn't that such behaviour should not be
condemned, but that /any/ instances of it should but you are
concentrating on only one manifestation and seeking to lay the blame
where it doesn't really belong. And because you don't hear any voices
raised against, sitting amongst your US news reports and no obvious real
contact with any /actual/ Muslims, you seriously think that only the 2
or 3 you've highlighted are bothered at all? How would you *know*?

Why not write to Amnesty and ask /them/ if they think the Islamic
religion is itself primarily responsible for this behaviour. When you
get the reply then let me have a copy and we can talk about it off-ng.

Yet for some reason the nearly 1 billion Muslims, or even a significant
percentage of them, in the world are not at war with non-Muslims, so
they seem to have a different idea about it to you. That there is such
a word does not mean that Muslims all feel a need to declare war on
other people, and the clearly obvious state of this being so for the
vast majority should be good evidence.

The fact that hundreds of millions of people are /not/ behaving the way
you say their religion asks them to behave should be pretty good
indication that you've got the wrong end of the stick to some degree.
How much proof do you want?

Again, I suggest you write to Amnesty and get their view on the extent
to which the basic religion requires its devotees to abuse women and
children and make war on others.

You've made your point. And no I'm not going to write Anmesty International
and take their time up with your silly assed stuff. They are busy right now
trying to beg the corrupt UN to stop the genocide in the Sudan. The UN is
"monitoring" the situation. In the meantime over a 1,000,000 Africans may be
killed this year by a few bad apples.

The following is a letter Amnesty International USA sent to the president of
Sudan:

"Dear Mr. President:
I am writing to express my deep concern about acts of violence against women
committed by the Janjawid militia in the Darfur conflict and to urge you to
take action and to protect the women and girls of Darfur.

Amnesty International (AI) delegates have interviewed hundreds of Sudanese
refugees in Chad and have found that many of the human rights violations in
Darfur have been targeted specifically against women and girls. These
violations have included abductions, sexual slavery, torture and forced
displacement.

Almost every woman in Darfur is at risk of attack: pregnant women and girls
as young as eight have not been spared from rape, abduction and sexual
slavery. Women have been raped in public, terrorizing and humiliating them,
their families and communities. Women have also been tortured to solicit
information on the whereabouts of their husbands and other male survivors.
Those who resist rape have been beaten, stabbed, or killed. The suffering
and abuse endured by these women goes far beyond the actual rape. Women who
survive this violence often suffer from severe mental and physical health
problems, unwanted pregnancies, social stigmatization, and economic
difficulties. Most of these abuses have been committed by the Janjawid
militias which operate with your support and enjoy impunity for their
actions.

I urge you, as President of Sudan, to act now to stop the Janjawid and other
perpetrators of violence against women and provide immediate and adequate
assistance to women who have been affected by sexual violence. I ask you to
ensure that:

- The Janjawid militia are disarmed, disbanded and placed in a position
where they can no longer attack the civilian population;
- Any member of the Sudanese armed forces suspected of having committed or
ordered human rights violations is suspended immediately, pending
investigation;
- The police, military camp security, and humanitarian personnel in Darfur
and Chad do not include any member or former member of the Janjawid militia
and that female officers are employed in all IDP camps and trained to deal
with issues of gender-based violence;
- All parties to the conflict issue clear instructions to all combatants
under their control not to commit rape and other forms of sexual violence
and that all cases of rape will be investigated and those responsible
prosecuted;
- Those who have raped are brought to justice in fair trials, without the
possibility of the death penalty; and
- Sudan ratifies all international conventions and treaties that protect
women from sexual violence in conflict.

I appeal to you to take all steps necessary to stop such horrific violations
and attacks against women in the Darfur conflict and to address immediately
the consequences of this violence. Thank you for your attention, I look
forward to your response."

with issues of gender-based violence;
- All parties to the conflict issue clear instructions to all combatants
under their control not to commit rape and other forms of sexual violence
and that all cases of rape will be investigated and those responsible
prosecuted;
