Depends on whose turn it is to pick.

Most places will happily top two halves of a pizza differently.

    I usually get:
-Italian sausage, pepperoni, and black olives
-black olives and double Italian sausage
    -onion and double pepperoni

No extra cheese??? IMHO they tend to be WAY too stingy with the cheese!

You must have a stomach made of steel! BBQ sauce AND pineapple?

There nothing wrong with that combination. They were made for each other.

One good reason to add pineapple chunks to BBQ'd Kebabs. ;-)

I don't usually use BBQ sauce on those (I use salad dressing and
marinate them instead) but I could see where that would work.

I think I'd pass on BBQ sauce in PIZZA tho'!

They are more limited than if you make it yourself.

I generally get sausage, mushroom, black olive and extra cheese.

At home, all bets are off!

See the above and add the following possibilities:

    Ham
    Pineapple
    Artichoke hearts
    Cocktail shrimp
Alternate extra cheeses (Monterey jack for me!)
Sliced smoked sausage (Pepperoni is too salty for me but YMMV)
    Olives of any kind
Interesting items from the 'frige (Musgovian pizza)

    Other ideas?

My ultimate favorite: spinach, fresh garlic, fresh tomato slices, mushrooms,
onions, olives and pineapple. Sometimes I add ham.

    kili

    Have not tried spinach!
Bet those baby spinach leaves would work well.

Thanks for the idea! I was one of those that suffered when all the
bagged spinach leaves were pulled nation wide. :-(

We have them on hand pretty much all the time and eat them both raw and
    steamed.

Cool addition to stir fry's and omelets, and just about anything else!

Not acidic at all. I'm not talking about store-bought sauce. I make it.
    Pineapple is caramalized
    No tomato sauce in it.

You must have a stomach made of steel! BBQ sauce AND pineapple?

I make my own sauce, and its delicious. Not hard on the stomach at all.
I have acid reflux, take meds daily, and my sauce never bothers me (not
even before I started meds). It doesn't have a lot of vinegar in it and
no ketchup (blech!). I use pinapple juice, some tomato paste, molasses,
and a few other choice ingredients, including some liquid smoke. The
sauce is beyond delicious, and goes well with everything on the grill,
    too.

Try making pizza with a good homemade BBQ sauce, and the toppings I
listed. You will fall in love. I guarantee it.

This is the first compelling argument I have heard for making my own sauce.
    Thanks.

I'm beginning to consider it too. <lol>

Usually for me, its mushroom, same as when I eat pizza in a pizza place.
Sometimes though I prefer something different so I might get barbecued
    chicken or hawaiian.

Ham and pineapple on pizza together works very well.

What I am thinking is, tomato sauce (or just sauce with a bit of tomato) may
be like orange juice in that, when it is freshly made, it has a less acidic
    aspect.

If so, it might be worth making fresh.

I know it. Pepsid worked great for me. I had a fleeting
problem brought on by too many hot wings! (When I quit
smoking, eating those things just made me feel better. Who
knows why. But all that fat and all that spice must have messed
with my (whatever that thing is called that keeps the acid down
where it is supposed to be, it escapes me now). So I had
reflux for the first time and was it nasty. The doctor put me on
Protonix and it healed the damage done, Pepsid kept the acid
down, and I quit the spicy, fatty wings and have had no problem
since. Before the Wing Episode I had only had heartburn once
or twice in my 40+ years. I don't have to take any medication
now. If less egregious foods (haha!) begin bothering me I will
go back to Pepcid and Tums. I am not cutting out everything!

First off, stone is essential for cooking a pizza at home, metal baking
    sheets don't compare.

I don't like anchovies on ordered pizza, but love them on my own. That way
I can chop them smaller and use less of them, spread it out a little better
to avoid the salt overdose. They go great with black olives (green gets too
salty with the combined anchovies) and I like to mix a tiny bit of bbq sauce
(home made when I have it) into the tomato sauce. Other vegies are always
random... peppers, mushrooms, onions, whatever I have.

I look at this list and wonder why there's so much resentment at food
    stamp users eating junkfood.

I used to make my own pizzas from scratch. But now, since wheat is out
for me, I get crusts from either Glutino or Kinnikinnick. They are both
pretty decent. There is no pizza shop here that does gluten free pizza.

For the base, sometimes I use olive oil and sometimes some pizza sauce
(which I make and freeze in small portions. Then, I add a chiffonade of
fresh basil and very thin slices of fresh garlic. Then, pieces of fresh
mozzarella. After that, I enjoy a really great pepperoni or, if I'm not
using a tomato sauce, sun dried tomatoes. I like other things too but
this is pretty much my favorite pizza. Oooh yum!

No accounting for taste. I don't like it. People are forever
"discovering" this and recommending it to me. I still don't like it,
although I will eat it, and will even agree to ordering it, especially
if something else gets ordered also. I like every other kind of pizza
