Nearly double what I had expected, but I didn't expect the bike to
need a new frame, and I was also unaware that anything carbon and
under load needs to be binned after a crash.It's because there's no _sure_ way of detecting any unseen fractures it
might have sustained.
same i'd guess for aluminuium which is brittle metal and hard to detect
damadge.
