Is corrrecting someone's misuse of a word worse that rude nose-blowing? I don't know, so sue me. -- but so many people don't know that "discrete" and "discreet' are 2 separate, distinct words.: "Discrete" means "in separate parts--such as "the rocket is made of 5 discrete parts".
