Having been hit and injured by cars myself I strongly sympathise with
you. Were you blamed initially, which seems to be a common practice
whenever cyclists are involved in crashes with drivers?

Be careful, Francis! If you are perceived to be anti-car in any way on
these newsgroups you are liable to be showered with personal abuse.
Not only that but you could be intimidated by having your personal
details published on the internet, including your home address and
telephone number. It doesn't end there either. In the past I have been
subjected to death threats and stalking. There seem to be no limits to
which these car junkies will not go in order to protect their fix.

You know it's just a guess, but I think you may have missed his point.
Also as I recall you have stated that the address & phone number posted
are not yours, which is it?
Please feel free to post details of death threats & stalking.

So now you admit that you are Duhg Bollen and that the address in
Catford published here is your home address, and bizarrely you claim
that your home telephone number is a premium-rate 32p/min number.

Had you forgotten which lies you were telling this month?

I don't agree with the hostile publication of personal details, home
addresses or telephone numbers on usenet and have said so more than
once, but my understanding was that you have always denied that the
details posted actually related to you.

Thank you for your input to this newsgroup Doug, bugger it wrong
reply.

I have just checked the front & back gardens, looked at the roof & the
cellar & the does not seem to be anybody lurking.
As far as I know the 'dog & bone' is not being tapped but as there is
no post on a Sunday I don't know if my mail is being intercepted.
The beer down the pub tasted the same as usual & the bus driver was
his usual civil self.
I did not notice my name and address posted on bus stops or
advertisement hoardings.
All in all same as any other Sunday, but of course its not over yet.
One thing I did notice is the Street name is on a sign at the end of
the street & my house number is on the gate.

Take care, displaying the street name and the house number so prominently
will make it easy for a stalker. You have been warned.
