But i am more of a reptile man myself.
In the late eighties, i had an Asian Water Monitor, which i had to bring to
the Zoo because he reached 6 feet.
A few years later, i saw him there being a whopping 10 feet.

In the nineties, i had this cute White Throat Monitor. Extremely muscular
and beautiful, with 2 inch razor sharp claws. Enough pet talk...

Have you ever shot a S&W .500? With one hand? I did ;-)

I'll give you that: some of those Native Siberian girls are so cute,

You mean in a Pitt-Bull kinda way? I love those dogs. I dont have a

Pit-bull. Sometimes i think that i am the only patriot here..

You dont seem to have any resemblence to those people.

No. Bandog is actually a very ancient term for certain type of dog. A few
decades ago, a veterinarian named Swinford attempted to create a new breed
by crossing Pit Bulls with either English or Neapolitan Mastiffs, and named
the crossbreed a Bandog. His attempt to make the crossbreed breed true, and
thus become an actual new breed, failed, because by about the 5th
generation, the crossbreed had reverted back to looking almost exectly like
a Pit Bull. From what I've read, Swinford's Bandogs were pretty awesome
    dogs.

Kewl! No, I haven't. I've fired other big bore boomers, and don't really
mind that kind of recoil. The recoil that I found VERY painful was the
sharp, incredibly violent, recoil from my little 11 ounce scandium/titanium
    J frame S&S .357 loaded with Cor-Bon 125 grain HOT loads. I posted about
that session a while back. Damn, that hurt.

There are Russians on the other side of the border too - in Inner
Mongolia, and other nothern provinces of China
    (http://www.china.org.cn/english/null/139526.htm)

You're probably referring to the Native Siberian population (although
I have to say the guy in the picture above is very short for a
Russian). By the way, the Natives are probably not as mixed with
Mongols as Russians, and they migrated to Siberia long before the
Mongols went around on the silly midget horses. But some of them are
tall, and as I mentioned, there are quite pretty women too. By the
way, big sexy head is always a plus.

Pete, you're definitely on to something. I was just thinking the
same the other day. I used to use kettlebells before I left Russia,
true, but I always thought that it was for the reasons of their
ubiquity. Perhaps I was mistaken. I wonder if Jason E's hair have a
hint of being not quite straight.

Nice try. However, my hair is the polar opposite of curly. Perhaps
you have to be *good* with a kettlebell before seeing signs of
curliness. If that's the case then you'll have to excuse me while I
go do another set of kbell snatches. My hair is so limp and lifeless
that it could use some chutzpah.

Same here. I have a friend I first approached with a Russian phrase in
a crowded place, solely based on his slavic-mongolian mug. They also
have that curious - turn disinterested to blank look and a sad facial
