Well, if you can find a chemist of fortune around your parts, you might be
able to get him to knock one up. Maybe stick a carboxyl group on the
3-position of beta-carotene, then esterify it to one of the hydroxyls on
the steroid, and hope that cellular esterases knock it off; might even
improve the pharmacodynamics ...
Okay, enough some-way-beyond-the-stuff-i-really-know-about chemistry.
