Sorry. I am not a Barbecue purist ;-) It was sliced thick and grilled over charcoal.

Cool! Neither am I. But I just wanted to make sure. Can't imagine
cooking bologna low and slow for a few hours. LOL! We'll have to give
    this a try sometime.

To be honest, it is not the sort of thing that I would run out and buy to BBQ. I think that
if someone dumped a big junk of balogna on my I would think about heating up the BBQ and
grilling it. I can't think what else I might do with it.

I recall that at one time, years ago when we didn't have a lot of selection in cold cuts,
balogna was more popular. I also seem to recall that any time I see it has part of a
selection at a buffet, the balogna was the one cold cut that you could count on having lots
    left over.

or something. I don't want it in the house!

Ohhhh! Nothing better than a fried balogna sandwich, browned in
    butter, and shaped like PacMan.

I buy bologna roughly once every 10 years or so, and when I do, my part
gets fried. Crash likes it in sandwiches, cold.

Well, he ended up eating it cold on rye with Kraft cheese slices inbetween
the entire POUND of bologna. 2:30 am found him in the bathroom for the
third time. LOL. Serves him right. He claims he's done with bologna now.
    :~)

    kili

made a great pic, though 🙂

Oooo, now you have me salivating. I prefer Jewish salami, but bologna
was what we had at camp, and fried over the campfire and then chopped
and mixed in with eggs it made a great omelet or in most cases,
    scrambled egg<G>
