neither of wich are actualy at St Marys Loch. The campsite at St Marys
Loch is at Tibbie Shiels Inn.

I've just had a brief look on the map and there's about 13 Marilyns and 3
Corbetts very close to St Mary's Loch area. To which, I've only done White
Coombe (corbett) and Andrewhinney (Marilyn) so my tally could be upped over
just a long weekend!

I didn't think Tibbie Shiels had a camp site, must be new! most people camp
the road side of the humped back bridge and thats nowt to to wth Tibbie
Shiels, and I do know this place really well, I had a boat on St Mary's Loch
for years!

Great place to stay, good pub, good lock ins. Had a few wild nights in
there!

Fantastic hill walking country too, A round of Blackhope, or a round of Loch
Skeen being two of the best!

Its hardly the far NW. you will not be encountering the "Bothy Midge"!

The Midge at St Marys Loch are few and far between, I have never known them
be a problem. Also, jsut to be topical, Ticks, I have never seen one of
these in the Southern Uplands, I am sure they exist, just never personally
seen one there!
