I have a 1.9 liter TDI Skoda Fabia, it will tow on any A road where
caravans are allowed, at the appropriate speed limit. :-)

I thought the rest of you would prefer the Tibbie Shiels site it sounds
more like a walkers site.

My back is really too old for tents any more :-(

Give the Tibbie a ring, tell them you are joining others camping, I would be
supprised if they were not accomadating, there is plenty of bits of land
around that could take a caravan for a couple of nights! Failing that there
is always the ground on the other side of the humped back bridge from the
tibbie, I can't say I have never seen a Caravan parked up there, but it is a
rare event when there is not a few mobile homes enjoying a free night by the
Loch of the Lowes.

Certain for the 15th to 17th July - good job it's that weekend as I've just
been told at work they'll be loads of weekend work soon - so may as well put
all those double time Sundays in!

Any ideas of which routes we'll do on Saturday and Sunday? I've booked
Friday off and might do 2 of the Corbetts then and fancy 5 Marilyns on
Saturday and 4 easyish(?) Marilyns on Sundays.

The Idea of knocking off 11 marilyns in a Long weekend seems enticing - yum
yum.

BTW, for those coming up late afternoon, the Marilyn, Andrewhiney, only took
me 95 minutes in total - starting from the 2nd stone bridge right after the
Grey Mare tail car park, there's a small parking space. It's very steep
grass for about 20 minutes and then levels off. Or the Corbett, White
Coombe, could be done in 4 hours easy!

Haven't done anything in the area so all I need to avoid is whatever I

I've done 11 Munros in a day but only 3 were Marilyns. :-)
