Discovery in disarray.... ?

It could be possible that Disco is interested in neither. I wouldn't be surprised to see them load up for Hincapie to win Paris-Roubaix and several other classics because he's an American, it's an American team and he can't win the Tour. He might be able to win the Vuelta one day late in his career if the course is suitable, but he'll never line up against the best stage racers in the world and do better than a top-10er.

Let's not forget about Floyd in this crazy soap opera. With his bionic hip and an OJ style victory in the court room he could be back next year. He's admitted he talks to Lance about once a week.

I don't have any evidence. I never said he was guilty, simply that it is looking doubtful that he is innocent, which is a matter of my opinion.

I hope he is innocent, and that he continues to race. But there is no point in being naive about the matter either.

The mud I speak of is the allegations. Even if he clears himself unfortunately that mud always sticks. He will always be the guy who wasn't allowed to ride the '06 tour because of a doping scandal. Rightly or wrongly.

Yes, I agree about the mud, but so far there is no evidence. I just don't understand why he should be held more accountable than other riders.
As I said, myself and other think this whole situation stinks of conspiracy to kill Jan's career. Evidence or not.
It is looking doubtful that he will try for a comeback.

I might have missed the confirmed report or official announcement, but has Il Falco clearly landed another team?

I think DC is going to extend its sponsorship. It's already gotten Bruyneel to hire a second rider at DC's request (after Fumy Beppu of Japan, the Chinese rider).

Savoldelli is reported to have signed with Astana.

But why has there not been an official announcement from Astana, or did I miss it?

Ouch, what a squad. Vino, Kash, Il Falco, Kloeden. All very strong GC riders with back up from the likes of Kessler, Redondo, Mazzoleni, Joachim. They're going to do very well next season.................

Much better than Discovery me thinks.

Maybe the team to beat. If the Basso problems resolve then CSC and Astana should be very competitive next year.

"It is a rather delicate question... But, in my opinion, the moral winner of the last Tour de France is Oscar Pereiro, who I hold in high esteem and regard as a formidable guy," Basso told Belgian newspaper La Derniere Heure after the presentation of the 2007 Giro D'Italia. - What about toeing the US line that Floyd is the man ?

Anyone ever hear why Hamilton got caught? He got the wrong blood. Ever hear who it belonged to?

His twin brother (what is Spanish for twin brother..Tugboat?) :D

By the way I did not want to accuse anything (Urco, Pereiro), I also did not published about it on my site or somewhere else (except for this forum), I wanted to point out that it is rather difficult to say who would be the moral winner of the Tour... (IMO)

Yes I know, I hear a lot and don't make accusations unless I have proof and if I posted everything I heard ...lets just say it would inflame some posters.
I agree it would be a hard call.

"We have a very strong team for the Tour, and obviously that's going to be the first goal of the season, and we'll have a chance to win it," said Janez Brajkovic to The Daily Texan. But Discovery will also contend the Vuelta a España. "My first goal is the Vuelta again," said Brajkovic, who wore leader's yellow jersey for two days in the 2006 Vuelta.
____

- If Basso is gunning for the Giro and Tour double and now Brajkovic is shotting for the Vuelta, where does that leave Tommy D ?

Save Tommy !
