    |Really? I never noticed the poorness of the old Freeserve one. But
    |then I wasn't doing a parallel comparison so never knew how good it
    |was compared with any other. Of course any service is better than
    |none. :-)

Having used several newservers, I judge NIN the best of the pack in that
they run it properly, they have rules about what you can do, and AFAIK
    enforce them.

Dave Fawthrop <dave hyphenologist co uk> Google Groups is IME the *worst*
method of accessing usenet. GG subscribers would be well advised get a
newsreader, say Agent, and a newsserver, say news.individual.net. These
will allow them: to see only *new* posts, a killfile, and other goodies.

Roger, you really should get your facts right. Absolutely clueless?

<Roger>That's right. You are absolutely clueless about Usenet viz your
risible way of quoting previous context the on only occasion you have
    managed it.

I don't give a flying whatever for what you do for a living. But I am
in the comunications business and you have lost the plot. Perhaps you
would like to have a go with my feeble watch light and try to find
your way back to the original point?

You deserve personal insults if you can't be bothered to quote the relevant
    preceding text.

You're posting from google groups and you're still using the wrong
"reply" option. You should be using the one in the message header
options. That's the one which supplies the context quote for editing
everyone has been asking you to provide.
