The yearly anniversary meet is due in July, traditionally
held somewhere in Snowdonia.

and waffle for a while, then lose interest and forget about
it, then remember, then discuss and waffle a bit more. We
need at least three months for this... ;-)

By all means have a quickie expeditions in the LD in May,
if enough of you can make it at short notice...

I am spending most of May in Scotland. Starting with a week
on Skye and have a repeat go at the In Pin. Abut looking
forward to bagging Marilyns on the north end of the island.

So please plan something good for July.

We'll I'm off to Snowdonia end of this month. Anyone wanting
to join me trying to get my first walk over Crib Goch (last
year I had to abandon the attempt due to a foot problem) is
more than welcome! I'm also going to attempt to go up the
north face of Tryfan and a few other testing walks (subject
to my dodgy knee holding up).

If anyone is interested, I am planning to be in the area
from about 27th May to 2nd June. I'm probably going to get a
B&B around Betws-y-Coed, but I may camp if I have trouble
getting a suitable place. I've delayed booking anywhere as I
am recovering from a dodgy knee caused by the Peak District
earlier in the year, should be no problem (especially if I
am underpressure to meet up with people - I still remember
with shame that Expedition 14 was to my suggested location
and yet I had to wimp out due to work commitments).

I have 13 walks prepared and keyed into my GPS, so I can
cope with changes required by my knee deciding to restrict
height / length of walks. Distances vary from 5 to 19km
and 300 to 1000m of ascent (but all involve at least one
2000' summit).

And most importantly, I will be scheduling a visit (or more)
to Pete's Eats.

I don't know if this would count as an expedition (what
without the weeks of procrastination and everything), but
I'd love to meet up with anyone in the area at the time.
Looks like I will be heading up on my own as my walking
group have suddenly found lots of other things to do now
that I have asked for some commitment to getting some proper
hills in. Stories are still going round about what happened
when I took them to the Brecons some time ago...

And before anyone asks, I am not bringing Benjamin!

I thought I was doing just that. Two visits to England in
the last couple of months plus visits to Dartmoor and the
Peak district in the not too distant past.
