  1. I haven't seen it before... does anyone know of a protein shake
without all the vitamins and minerals in it.. just basically the
protein? Or at least minimal other stuff? I eat well and personally
feel the vitamins and minerals in these shakes are overkill and
unnecessary. Most of that stuff will be unused and eliminated anyway. I
take a multi-vit/min when I think I need it, about once a week.

    Thanks for the help.

    k.a.

Uh...huh? "Just" protein? As in blender, water, and protein powder?

Am I missing something in this question?

You may "personally feel" anything you like, but, you would be wrong.

    No, not really.

Uh huh. I should have read ahead. Wasted my time.

The help you need, I don't have the time or desire to provide.

How do you conclude that you need a multi-vitamin, at those time that
    you "think you need it?"

Yes. Basically something with minimal ingredients. No magnesium, iron,
calcium, vitamins, etc. Just the protein. If a few other things are
added thats fine, but not tons of vitamins and minerals. Usually a
protein shake is made with water and a blender, so I don't know what
    you're confused about.

Like I said, I eat well. Vegetables, nuts, seeds, nutrient dense food.
I don't want extra vitamins and minerals. I take a
    multi-vitamin/mineral on days I don't eat well. That's what I do. Don't
worry about it, it works for me. Extra vitamin and minerals are
    eliminated. FACT.

    Dally

It's not something I feel. It's not a science. On days I don't eat well
I take a multi. I don't like to take one everyday because I personally
    feel it's unnecessary.

  6. I was just looking on the internet and it looks like the vitamins and
minerals are in it naturally. Like whey for example. I thought they
    added it.

Nevermind. I answered my own question.

So are aminoacids. But how do you explain lifespan increases for water
soluble vitamins and minerals summarized in the table on p. 3 of this
    report - http://www.cryonics.org/bblr/lr91.pdf

Yeah. Nice. All I'm saying is if you drank a bucket of orange juice,
you're body is not going to store all the vitamin c. That's it.
    Otherwise I'm not arguing this.

Are you saying the lifespan increase for macro-dosed water solubles is
through divine intervention? They're not stored after all.

But, divine intervention doesn't explain the beneficial effects on us
atheist Jews. Unless, as the saying goes, "To you, I'm an atheist. To God,
    I'm the loyal opposition."

Of course, a benevolent God would have given Brass Balls more than half a
brain, so, I'm not sure you've answered the question.

Hey look at this! A normal human being! On usenet! Thank you Jeff.
Forget about my question its been answered. I answered it. More
importantly you've restored my faith in humanity. This post should be

Yes, Jeff is a patient, kind, man. I admire that in him. His ability to
tolerate whiney little thin skinned [censored] who cry like little girls
when challenged to defend their asinine comments is amazing.
