It might prove to be too much of a cultural shock for the rest of my guests. While I know what the hippo is like, both physically and emotionally, she would come as quite a shock to the average SW London dinner guest.
I would probably need to consider alternative seating, as I don't believe our antique mahogany dining chairs would accommodate Dolly's rear end, even if we got Bill to fix two of them together.
Then there is her wind problem to take into account; if she were to let go during the meal.... well need I say more?

Doesn't matter. I just returned from training and going to the store, and I see Hudson has already responded to your post, ever fretting about his "allies" and "enemies." I have this image of Hudson with a battleground model next to his computer, filled with little plastic army men, each one labeled as a MFW regular; he spends his days moving them around, attacking and counterattacking.
