Training: Michelin Axial Carbon
Racing: Michelin ProRace2 or Vittoria EVO Open Corsa CX

I like:

Vittoria EVO KS (best ever by far!!!)
Vredestein Tricomps and Fortezza SLs
Michelin Pro Race
Schwalbe Stelvio Light
Maxxis Columbiere
Specialzed Mondo Pro (just ok)
Continental Supersonic (doesn't last long)

I don't like:

the treaded Scwalbe Stelvio
any Vredestein cheaper than a Tricomp

Price really comes into it for me, even for race tyres. Vredesteins are probably the best value for money, along with the Maxxis Columbiere

Right now, Maxxis Detonators f/b. In past, Maxxis Hors Categorie, Conti GP4000, and Mich. Carbons. I've liked all the Maxxis stuff and have been more than satisfied with mileage, cut resistance, and puncture resistance. Mich. Carbons were ok, except when it was wet, and then they were less than confidence inspiring. The Conti GP4000's...well, the all black ones LOOKED nice, but puncture resistance was non-existent.

Michelin Pro Race 2......

Is there any other kind of tyre??😉

I haven't yet crossed over to buying online from Probikekit, so, in shops around here, the Michelins are $98(!!!), and I could probably get them for just under $80 at my local shop. 🙁 However, I can easily get Vredestein Tricomps and Super Lights for $55 or less, and Maxxis Columbieres I can get for under $45 🙂

I picked up 2 Red Michie Pro Race 23mm for $20 last weekend, fitted to a mates Avanti Blade, goes like a rocket now. Just got to get the motor running on premiun unleaded. 😄

i know its a cliche..... but..... have you tried the AUS ebay (if you dont like buying from OS) - you can get 2 for around $90.

on the road for training i use conti gp 4000's

on the road for racing i use conti attack and force

on the track for training i use conti supersonics

on the track for racing i use challenge pistas (i know i know, when they wear out i'll be using conti sonderklasse)

ive used michelin pro race before and i much prefer the contis, and you cant help but like the supersonic tubes 🙂

Felt: Conti GP4000s, blue, 'cause the bikes blue.

Wheeler: Sonday Best, Conti GP4000s, black, 'cause they only make 650c in black.

Wheeler: Training wheels, Conti Ultra Gator Skins, 2005 grooved on the front, 2006 slick on the back.

Fun bike: Sold the slicks to a lady last weekend. I have Conti City Contact 26x1.5 on order but until they arrive, a 23mm Conti GP on a 650c rim laced to a MTB rear hub and I can rob the front training wheel of the Wheeler to go with it. 😄

ooo, not bad. They seem to be the tyre of choice at races around here

conti 4 seasons.

I've been thinking about Michelin pro racer 2 or conti 4000 when my existing tyres eat the dust (while I eat someone elses dust). Both have good rolling resistance. Not sure on the durability or puncture resistance.

Michelin have a tyre pessure guide in accordance to how much you weigh. Does anyone know where I find it?

right now: Michelin Carbon's 100/105 psi, running at lower psi really does help!

when worn out I will purchase the GP4000 tires because of the good reviews on them.

(Keep the orders to less than $500 and you won't get hassled by customs either).

Conti 4000 although they are puncture proof (as the Titanic) I hit a rather large large stone in the road and flatted, I know the excees pressure was responsible (kinda like the iceberg huh)?

I thought I was really clever getting 2 Specialized Mondo S-Works for 50 bucks the other day, then John Kennedy tells me Specialized are the worst tyres on the market :p
