  6. You're telling someone in induction that eating one meal a day of only
meat and eggs won't help her lose weight. I'm saying it will. I'm
right and you're wrong. You won't take responsibility for the fact that
    you're wrong.

Are you kidding? First off, taking responsibility isn't even remotely
related to the topic at hand. Secondly, I fervently believe in taking
responsibility for one's own actions. There's no other way to live,
imo. I also believe in some other things that you seem to be missing,
like taking credit for one's own _good_ decisions, and accepting the
things you can't change while working on the things you can. None of us
here who are fat can change what we did in the past. The past is over
and done with, but you still attempt to use it against people, people
who _are_ taking responsibility and doing something about their weight.
You're the first to jump on someone for being fat, even someone who is
doing low-carb to the letter, and exercising, and actually _losing
weight_. It's like no matter how much progress they make, they'll never
be worthy of respect in your opinion, because they needed to lose weight
in the first place. I've never once seen you congratulate someone for
reaching goal, encourage someone who's doing well. Do you treat
yourself that harshly? If you do an extra set in your weight routine,
do you berate yourself because it wasn't two sets? If you eat nothing
for a week, do you beat yourself up because it wasn't two weeks?

I don't expect you to understand, so don't catch a headache trying.

I used to respect him. He used to be really good at pointing out when
people were making excuses and doing it all wrong. Now he attacks and
insults even the people who are following low-carb to the letter and
successfully losing weight. If he's going to attack even the people who
are doing it right, then no, I don't respect him anymore. His comments
    are useless.

  8. I disagree. I don't think it's ever useful to degrade people who are
trying, even if they are "making excuses and doing it all wrong." Better
to point out in a positive way IMO, but JC is "useless" at that. :-)

  9. Many people won't lose weight, other that a few initial pounds of water, if
they eat one meal per day of 5000 calories of meat and eggs.

    Is that why you've stalled?

Is there something I missed? Why would anyone care about JC's respect,
    it's
    obvious he has earned none.

  14. Nah. I've stalled on ~1500 calories a day. And you pulled that 5000
calorie figure right out of your ass.

Many people won't lose weight, other that a few initial pounds of water, if

  17. The exercising more part is right on track. The eating less part is
where I keep failing. Last week I tried eating just one small meal a
day. That lasted until Friday. Some of the side effects bothered me

Maybe. Maybe if they're excited and happy about their progress thus
