Stage 19 - Saturday, July 28: Cognac - Angoulême, 55.5km

It's going to be close. I wonder if they'll attack the yellow jersey tommorrow (whoever is wearing it tonight).

I must say, seeing the video replay, the 3 second field split looks really dubious yesterday. Amazing that they didn't give the field the same time. Cantador was just behind Evans. Small gap but 3 seconds (or any split) no way.

Could it be pivotal?

Auurrgh. Contador will fall apart at the end and Evans will take enough time, but then get beaten to yellow by another doped up Disco rider.

I agree, I heard about it, but didn't see it. When they showed it, I was thinking that was definitely NOT 3 seconds.

Indeed! This ride by Levi is almost Vino-like and we know what happened to him!

I don't know. Don't thank LL will have enough time on Evans but Evans may nip Contador. Unless Cantador is conserving a little something for the last 10 km.

Will they attack the yellow jersey tomorrow?

P.S. Evans 35 seconds out at 35 KM.

The perspective of front on cameras makes the riders look closer than they are..... the aerial view shows the definite break..... ********.

WOW, if LL can keep that pace, he has a legit chance of overtaking CE and AC.

I need to edit my own post, not sure "legit" was the correct word, but his time can overtake the others.

Its a tail-wind the whole way so its hard to gain huge amounts of time..... its not a out and back course....

Do you even watch any racing or do you just tune in to oogle the Disco riders? The times are taken from the front of each group. If there is a sufficient gap then it counts as a new group.

How embittered you must be. Why the constant need to insult others?

Even counting it off it wasn't 3 second and it didn't mandate a split in time.

Similar to the difference between SC and Axel yesterday IMO. And that was a 1 second split.

Did you see the replay of the finish or are you using your hyperactive imagination.

BTW, great race today. It will be tight!

Its going to be close. Evans put in under a minute to him at 35 KM. Can he put in another minute within the next 19 kms?

Fireworks tomorrow?

Mine too. Leipheimer looks like he is working really hard. Evans looks smooth but does not look like his is pushing as hard. Evans needs to pick it up.
