Anybody know for sure? I wouldn't bet against KSC4444 on that one. Even if it's not the same exact
factory, it could be very similar (in production techniques, equipment, skill levels, etc).

BTW: I'm talking about the low-end Specialized bikes - the ones they sell in large quantities.

Most bike companies do that. Have a look at the low-end Trek frames and compare them to some of
the better dept. store brands (Diamondback, Mongoose, Schwinn), and see if you can tell any
obvious difference.

Check again, Diamondback is owned by they same group that owns Raleigh USA. Their bikes are no
longer mass marketed, they are IBR. If you want to compare a Diamondback to anything ... compare it
to a Raleigh.

That's what I tried to say at the time, but it just didn't fly. I think I've repressed most of the
pre-wedding nightmares by now. I have vague recollections of future mother-in-law pinging, angst
filled discussions on the type of icing for the cake, and that sort of thing. The wedding itself was
easy. 15 years as of 27 Dec, hope to survive at least 15 more.

It was a beautiful sunny day, and we got married in my mom's back yard. Just a few friends and
family. One of my friends was a baker, so he made the cake. Another was a chef, so she catered. It
was really nice and low-key. We were just 20 and 19 years old. Some people said it wouldn't last,
but so far, so good. The main pain in the rear with having our anniversary on Christmas Eve is
dining out- there simply aren't that many nice restaurants open that night. As a result, we've had
to resort to extreme measures on occasion- for example, one year we went to Paris for our
anniversary.

No, about 120, no MS (I had not heard of her then), but a sit-down dinner and gown and all. Since we
didn't have a ton of cash, there was a bunch of stuff we did ourselves. Sweat equity, right? 🙂
