    No, they mention it. I think it was typically something like 200 or
    400m repeats with pretty short recoveries done at sprint effort or at
    least faster than race pace.

    And? What does that imply? Running is known to be much more stressful
    on the musculoskeletal system than cycling due to the eccentric
    contractions and pounding. You suggested, if I understood correctly,
    in your previous post that you felt X skiers could do training like
    this because it doesn't place as much stress on the muscles as
    cycling, I'm merely pointing out that in running there seems to be a
    precedent for this type of training. I think most people would argue
    running is much more stressful on the muscles than cycling. So
    perhaps you think Rasmussen could benefit from this type of training
    but Van Petegem could not? I don't see any reason a priori to argue
    that this type of training might beneficial to cyclists.

    Usually when you know people are one-handed typing, you should run screaming
    in the opposite direction.

    Especially when there are sheep involved.
