I just opened one of the last quarts of pickled beets... thought of
Crash while I gobbled them up.

Sorry to hear about it, Carol. I hope you can get Sony (or whoever)
to reimburse you, but simply typing that sentiment has conjured
bureaucratic legalese before my eyes enough to make me want to
withdraw the suggestion.
