I Posted a link to the pics on a post entitled "TR: Fannichs" Curiously this
post did not arrive on my server, however it must of arrived elsewhere
because their is a reply to it!

I also find it rather peculiar that their can be different posts and threads
on the computer at work to the one at home!

The algorithm for propagating posts round the newsservers is absolute cr*p,
these sorts of complaints appear periodically on most newsgroups.

Try NIN http://news.individual.net/ it is IMO the tops for text based
newsgroups and at 10Euros per year worth every penny. Read the conditions
and FAQ because they are a bit picky about what they will let you do.

I must admit that I consider it to be poor practice when people post to
usenet and leave no way for people to contact them via email. On more than
one occasion I have wanted to give someone a response to a question and
have been faced with a dilema due to the fact that the post was perhaps a
couple of weeks old and I couldn't garauntee that they would see the
response (bearing in mind that they may have joined the group, posted a
question, waited two weeks and then unsubbed).
