Diabetes -- caused by repeated release of massive amounts
of insulin which is brought about through the use of an
high sugar intake diet. Sugar is in every processed
food(along with scads of other savoury stuff such as
preservatives etc) and most carbonated drinks. As a result
most people are getting frequent high megadoses of sugar
all day long for just about every day of their lives. As a
result, their blood sugar levels soar sky high

and can't produce the insulin anymore with the result
that a diabetic now will have to take insulin

good idea to prevent diabetes is to quit using these
processed foods and stop taking these carbonated
beverages. In the place of sugar, for a sweetener use a
natural product such as Stevia but no aspartame or
other such deadly artificial sweetener's. For those

    Dr. Saxon? ???

Since eating raw fish seems to be the only way, or main
way to get these human liver infesting flukes I wouldn't
think they'd be too common here in the USA. That is, among
the non Asian population at least. Most Americans are not
into eating raw fish dishes. Also most people in the USA
use toilets and do not leave their feces on the ground
where run off could carry it to a water source and infect
    the snails.

Yup -- Hulda Clark's favorite liver flukes are so large that
there is no way a legion of pathologists could have failed
to notice them in countless thousands of cancer patients.

Is this insulin dependent diabetes?? IF it is adult onset
diabetes you may want to do some research on cinnamon. I
don't have ready references but believe that cinnamon may
help increase insulin sensitivity and lower blood sugar in
those who have adult onset diabetes.

Yes. He has adult onset diabetes. He took oral meds for a
long time and started the injectable insulin about 2 years
ago. They can't find why he never feels well as he has no
other known health problems caused by the disease except the
one bad foot. It has poor circulation and he may lose
it. I can suggest the cinnamon. Or have him ask his Dr
    about cinnamon.

    Quoted message said:

Not sure what you can do for your hypothyroidism other
than to take replacement thyroid hormone and have your
thyroid function test monitored periodically. Are you
hypothyroid due to treatment for hyperthyroidism?? If not
do they know what is causing it??

They didn't know I had hypothyroidism until I started to
gain weight rapidly about 6 or 7 years ago. I was active and
thin all my life. The first Dr refused to do much but tell
me to eat less and exercise more. But I wasn't over eating.
Getting more exercise is hard to do when you're too tired to
walk from the sofa to the kitchen. I was totally exhausted
all the time. I had all the classic symptoms and yet he did
nothing! I try not to be angry over this, but this weight
gain is very depressing. Had he listened, and put me on a
thyroid med right then, I never would have put 80 lbs on (in
2 years). What Dr would not be alarmed when a patient gained
that much weigh so quickly and was so exhausted?

The second Dr *listened to me* and put me on Levoxyl after
blood tests showed I had literally no thyroid function. The
weight gain stopped immediately but I have been unable to
    lose the last 25 lbs.

It seems my thyroid just QUIT on day. I asked him why this
happens and he said there was no way to know. He said it
could be genetic, a tumor... he sent me for a scan which was
negative - no tumors. I suppose I will have to remain on the
Levoxyl for the rest of my life. I'm 59 now.

No. Chelation is not too costly and from what I know it
works in all cases of vascular circulatory diseases. It
has saved many a limb of diabetics. It's also the most
effective treatment going for heart disease but the anti-

about alternatives for your mild case of arthritis if
    you don't believe

    me?
    ====================
I'm hoping SOMEONE makes some suggestions regarding the
questions I've asked: My friend's diabetes and my own
    hypothyroidism.

As for an alt regarding my arthritis, I've tried
Glucosamine 500mgs and Chondroitin 400mgs but so far I
    can't see where they've helped any after 8 or 9 months. I
don't take any other painkillers because it's really quite
    mild.

My BIL had bad knees, always painful, which resulted in his
retirement as a Captain from the NYPD. He went on
Glucosamine/Chondroitin and, after *2* years, began to see a
significant difference in how his knees felt. He left the NY
area at the same time, lives in FL, and is head of security
at a hospital. He credits both a change in lifestyle and the
use of G/C to his improvement.

    He is also 59.

Getting Health Ins to pay for Chelation Therapy may not be
possible unless it's an accepted part of treatment for
diabetics. Because of the foot he can no longer work and
    money is becoming an issue.

Kim, if anyone goes for chelation, then they should ask the
    seller several questions:

    1. Ask the seller to provide arteriography showing arterial
narrowing prior to chelation, and arteriography
subsequent to chelation. These studies should be
    performed by an independent lab.

    2. Ask the seller to provide pre and post Doppler studies of
    the same patients.

If neither are forthcoming, run like hell.

BTW, insurance often does not pay for useless treatments.
They do not want to be on the financial hook for years
without an improvement in the insured.
