That is totally funny! My neighbor on the OTHER side sends her totally worthless teenaged boy with their little Dachshund to [censored] in my yard. He's done it for the 3 years I've lived here, and I've asked him not to do it for 3 years. A few days before the dog left in the RV on the OTHER side of me happened, the kid brings his dog to [censored] in my yard. After he had gone to school, I picked up his dog's [censored], added a few days worth of my two dogs [censored], and piled it all on the front porch of their trailer.
I really have had it. These are only two stories of many, many, many I've put up with the 3 years I've lived here. I feel like Mt. St. Helen's ..... I've stuffed and stuffed and I'm full.

I have a funny nasty neighbor story for you. My neighbor has this big dog who jumps their tiny fence. He loves to drop his 3 pound piles in my yard. I nicely asked his wife to do something to keep the dog in their yard as I was getting tired of scooping the [censored] from his new ceremonial crapping grounds (my yard). Well she got all nasty with me telling me my dog barking scares her totally blind daughter. I told her my little dog cant jump a 6 foot wood fence and she had nothing to worry about. I then turned away and went in my house. Later in the afternoon her husband shows up at my door looking like Farmer John with his trusty shovel. He gruffly says to me "WHERE"S THE [censored]". I take him to the one fresh one and the 2 old dry ones. He hastily shovels up the fresh one, shovels the one old dry one and when he gets to the last dry one the [censored] rolled off the shovel. " I said to him "Ya dropped some". He says to me "Jesus Christ!" he hooshes the [censored] left on the shovel into the street, bends over picks up the [censored] that fell off with his BARE HANDS!!! ad throws that into the street too! ICK!!!!! he then trots off and I shout" Well now! That was mightly right neighborly of you wasn't it?" The dog has never crapped in my yard since. Laureen
Now, no one is speaking to me at all. If they are on their front porch when I take my dog for a walk, they get up, go inside and close the door. I'm living in a [censored] looney bin.
You did the right thing. I wouldn't want to bother with people who would shun you for saving a dog's life. They sound like a real joy to be around.

Jean, this is not the time to be sensitive. You can't control what people think about you, so your only choice is to try not to be affected by them no matter what they thought of you. Were you close friends with these people before the dog incident? I think probably not. So why would they now become your friends? Because you've made a fuss for a helpless dog that no one cares? They don't share your views and they'll probably never change. People differ so much in their views and values - I am sure there are people that even you have known them for years that you wouldn't understand their motives behind some of their actions. Steel up and take comfort on the fact that you're not they and they are not you. How's that?
I'm afraid you have misunderstood the situation, but that's all right. I've put my home up for sale and I'm having to find homes for 2 of my animals. Meanwhile, the dog's owner is back with the dog and it is like nothing ever happened. I've lost my home and my animals for trying to help the poor defenseless dog. And no body in the park is speaking to me. Wonder why oh why I'm a little sensitive?

Thank you, ignoramus, for your understanding and support. Sometimes, being a raging co-dependent, makes life a painful proposition. I just need to get my ass back to AA meetings. Thanks, again.

I sympathize, the dog abuser probably went round and lied to neighbors about your intervention.
A useful skill in life is not giving a [censored] about what idiots think about you. Makes life much easier. Then it is idiots' problem as to what to think and do about you, and you can meanwhile keep on enjoying life to the fullest. You can't make everyone like you, and if retarded trailer park dog abusers do not like you, that's no loss for you.
So you're a fat drunk that gets into other people's business and then whines about it.
