I don't think so. I think that would cause more problems than it would
create. In fact I think that tendency *is* causing more problems than
it thinks it is solving

As a traditionalist, you would have to agree with me that there is no such
thing as progress when it comes to the human condition. There is progress of
course with respect to science and technology, but none of that strikes
deep. The Victorians made a huge mistake in equating scientific and
technical progress with human progress. Both "1984" and "Brave New World"
are manuals for our condition and our predicament. Of the two prescriptions,
only "Brave New World" can solve the human condition by changing human
nature itself (gene manipulation) However, I do not believe that we humans
can ever take charge of our own evolution. We are doomed, along with all
other animal creation, by our present evolution which has taken place over
millions of years (since life began on this planet).
There is hardly one person in a thousand that can think straight about sex
and what its purpose might be. My only point was that nature had a choice to
make millions of years ago about which direction to take, a non-sexual as
opposed to a sexual solution - and it chose the sexual solution to ensuring
that life would exist on this earth. As a result, life has been quite a
tussle for all of life's creatures including us humans. I believe there are
some very elementary life forms that do procreate without sex. The main
problem though with this solution is that if a disease or condition comes
along, they will all die massively because there is not enough variation in
the individual life forms. Sex ensures this necessary individual variation
and hence is a survival mechanism for the species.
Most of the problems in the world are caused by men, not by women, and it is
because of the way men are constituted biologically both mentally and
emotionally by their evolution. The problems that women cause are
inconsequential by comparison. Women truly are the gentler sex. You do not
need to worry that men are ever going to become too feminine due to culture.
Biology will always reign supreme.
