harboring and supporting them. We need to go after those rogues states
they same way we would go after any enemy. That is why we went to
Afghanistan and Iraq and that will be the reason why we may have to go
to Syria and Iran too before we are done with the War on Terrorism.

Ed Dolan - MinnesotaBut Ed you know what the left would say.We need the International
community to help so that we are not offending them. And North Korea
could be left to starve ,thats what they deserve.I've got to ride my
bike today to get some of this out of my system,my bad knee will just
have to tag along for the ride.
A rogue state like North Korea can be starving its population to death and
still develop atomic bombs and the means to deliver them. We are now living
in the age of proliferation of atomic weaponry and everything has changed
from what any one has ever known previously because of it. The liberals have
yet to come to grips with this new thing in world history. It will take a
rogue state (or a terrorist group) setting off these atomic weapons and
killing hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians before they (the
liberals) will come to their senses. Those of us who are conservatives (neo-
or otherwise) worry that it may be too late by then.
The Bush doctrine of preventive war would save us all from the above
scenario, but I worry that the Bush doctrine is not really in place because
we are not doing much about North Korea and we should be doing something
about that particular rogue state other than palavering as they may very
well have a nuclear weapon by now. The fatal flaw in all democracies is that
we act too little and too late because of all our internal debates. 9/11,
although it did not involve atomic weapons, should nevertheless have been a
wake-up call for the country, but it wasn't as witness the liberal position
on all issues effecting national security and defense. 3,000 dead are not
enough. 300,000 will have to die before the liberals wake-up to the danger.
All of my concerns are focused on the defense of the nation which is more
important to me than anything else under the sun. We are living in an
incredibly evil world. All it takes for evil to triumph is that good men do
nothing. The US is just about the only good nation in the world. If we do
not do what is right, who will? Surely not decadent Europe. The threat that
the Islamic world and rogue states like North Korea pose to the West is far
more serious than most realize - and the liberals do not even have a clue.
