    ||| Thank you all for the input on the "skin" issue. I guess it can't
    ||| hurt
    ||| to add some arm exercises to my daily routine and see what happens.
    ||| Either way, I've got nothing to lose. Thanks!
    ||
    || I've lost 55 lbs so far. My loose skin is definitely shrinking.
    || I have noticed that when I lift weights, my skin seems to shrink
    || back more
    || quickly with the weight loss then when I'm lazy and skip the weights.
    || The area I'm having the most trouble with loose skin is my stomach.
    || Even
    || there, I have noticed serious improvement with the skin shriking and
    || stretchmarks slowly fading, but there is a lot to shrink. I've lost
    || 14
    || inches from my waist, so that is a huge difference.
    || I've also read that supportive undergarments can help loose skin
    || shrink (definitely helping with my stomach area). Maybe there is
    || something you
    || could wrap on your upper arms, to hold the skin closer to your
    || muscle and
    || bone?
    ||
    || My husband lost 70 lbs and had very saggy skin... but it all
    || tightened up
    || and basically disappeared a year AFTER his weight loss. I
    || understand that
    || this doesn't happen for everybody, but you never know, it could be
    || you. 🙂
    || Be patient, if your body has lots of readjusting to do this could
    || take time.
    ||
    || I wish you luck!

    Spring - do you mine revealing the age of you and your husband? It think
    there are many factors which play into this, and age is probably a
    significant one.

    My husband is 32. He had been overweight his entire life, from what I've
    seen of his childhood pictures. He was pushing 300 lbs when I met him.

    I am 25. I was not overweight most of my life - actually, I was an athelete
    in high school and college, and had a very fit body. Soon after leaving
    college, I had a medical problem and gained lots of weight very quickly -
    the first 30 pounds I gained all in one month. By strictly reducing
    calories and increasing exercize, the 2nd month I "only" gained 20 lbs. I
    struggled for the next two years to lose that, but ended up gaining another
    20 or 30 lbs during those years. I think my body has been through a lot
    because of the drastic quick weight gain. I have not been overweight for
    very long, but I was even in the "obese" catagory.

    The link I post with my signature has my weight loss pics. I should add
    another one, cuz now I look even better. 🙂
