yours, it's arguing and it's silly? Then skip
them, but that indicates a closed mind, IMO.
You've been here a while and you know that when
someone posts a recipe for fake bread, cake,
whatever, replies come out against it, for very
good reasons. BTW, did you go back and read
Suze's earlier post?
I'd already read it and recognize her opinion for what it is and had no
comment.
Now YOU are missing it. I didn't post an opinion. I posted a recipe. I
didn't say it was good for everybody, which would have been an opinion. I
didn't say it was bad for everybody, which would have been an opinion. And
certainly I had enough respect for everyone's right to choose to make it or
not, and didn't say everybody had to make it or use it. I don't really care
what others do as long it they're getting the results they want, and I'm
still wondering why others think they know better than me, or anybody, what
will work for us.
Of course, this being usenet, most people already know what is best for
everyone else; after all if something causes issues for some, then it will
for everyone else. Otherwise, where would be the fun? That something as
innocuous as a recipe can set off such inane discussion can only happen
here. What is even sillier, is that, going against my usual system of
ignoring discussions that descend into lectures or attempts to control
others, I allowed myself to even respond to such rubbish. Now THAT is
silly.
