couriers who rides fixed (and has 4 more at home!) He pointed me toward
SHM (Bourke St store, not sure re the Lonsdale one) or Pushi who bot
have em (probably about 20% of the couriers are on em now...). They hav
both a pricey one and a few cheaper Profile one

And that Orbea is quite exquisite, aint i

Just installed a set of the cheaper Profile ones (scored second han
from Bicycle Recycle) on my about-to-be-reborn hardtail commuter..

BTW - Was in SHM in Bourke St yesterday and they're closing down - s
stuff is going cheap, although that's not being publicised much ye
it seems... Picked up a full XTR cable set (shifters and brakes) fo
only $50..

For the trainer, I'd wonder if the fan speed is modulated to simulat
real weather conditions (how about tail wind??

As for the Orbea, a "hippy" should encourage peace (of mind), no
harbouring subjects of temptation. My heart throbs for that beaut. :

Brother has a digi and just gotback from the US where he picked up a
iPod which he use for the obligatory tunes but also as a storage devic
for his myraid of pics (you gotta get a approx$90 attachment to connec
digi) $430 + $90 for 15Gb of portable storage is WAY cheaper tha
anything out there now. And you get to take he tunes..

I just bought a $400 portable cd-burner that has a builtin card reade
from www.eyo.com.au. It's an "Apacer Steno CP200 DVD Combo" drive.
don't like hard drive options

www.powerinnumbers.com.au has a 30gb X-Drive for $300aud. They are base
just down the road in Malvern/Armadale and have quite a good rep. I'v
bought CF from them before

indoors' shortly (she'll be going to toy fairs over there so I get t
tag along). I may find myself in Europe during the TdF so I can leav

As I think is explained somewhere on the Gaansari site, they're
'moustache' handlebars. The shape was developed by a guy called Grant
Petersen when he was brand manager for Bridgestone bikes in the US.
Petersen now runs Rivendell cycles, and his site is an interesting read:

The only thing wrong with the latest E-E Orbeas is that they're not orange
enough! Yeah, okay, it's carbon fiber, so leave a few bits bare, but most

after you book in, honest! (arrgh). Oh, and a jewellery store in German

I've got these bars on the Hello Kitty Tourer, purchased at Abbotsfor
Cycles (via Christies). Excellent value for $35, multiple hand position
etc. Added cork tape + extra comfy molded grips. Have done some tourin
with these, great for short types who dislike drop handle bars

The Hello Kitty Tourer is a lovely little Shogun PB Expert I've buil
up. With neat tape job, far too much reflective tape and quality Hell
Kitty stickers. (style is important) Don't know if Sanrio _actuall
markets a tourer bike, but there is approx 20,000+ Hello Kitty products
so it's anyones guess

Give Sanrio time, they might sponser a TdF team. Imagine it, the ful
team kit would be *so cool

😄 😄 (Yes, no expense spared by the management here), brakes LX Deore
MTB triple 42:32:24, the rest of groupset a weird mix that works. Plu
shiny black SKS guards, then multiple bidon cages, pannier rack, ligh
mounts, computer, single entry spd pedals etc. I like it. :cool
