  1. I am down another 1.2, this makes it 87.1 total. the weight is 164.4 so I have 2.4 for the next star
at WW. It has been a good week. I started this morning with all of my flex points. DH is making a
cake we got from TJ and with a few adaptations, it will be 5 points per serving for a ninth of the
cake. We decided to make it in the muffin tins so 4 per cupcake for poundcake. Life is grand, Lee,
of to eat some flex points, and before I forget, good luck to you all this week...

  2. Woohoo! Congrats on that 1.2 gone forever. I see you are once again on the losing end of things,
maybe all that exercise you got from grocery shopping this week-end? <grin> Enjoy the cake/cupcakes,
and let us know how they are.

  5. Since I usually don't do it I took activity points for it. I used the
"walking, leisure" in the data base. I used 5 of the 8 I earned. I think
it was due in part to that since it was extra. The pound cake was
excellent. We shave some points by using light butter or parquet, not sure
which. He made ten cupcakes that worked out to 4 a cup. It was not as
dense as pound cake but had all the flavor and the crust was excellent. It
is the Trader package that say something like... "traditional pound cake
with a hint of orange... a definite buy again item. Lee, thanks for the
    support

  19. This sounds good Joyce. Does the cake still get fluffy or is it more like a dessert that you spoon
into a bowl? I've got a box of angelfood cake mix in the cupboard, maybe I'll try it this weekend.
Haven't tried the cake mix with soda either, but that sounds good. It's my sister's birthday on
Sunday and her husband is going to be away herring fishing (need to keep Fred and the rest of us in
pickled herring for the next year). I thought I might invite her for dinner on the weekend. Maybe
