Next time, skip the spuds and do a Yorkshire Pudding. My good friends,
the English, have it wrong. Pork 'n York forever! And York's easier than
spuds. With pork gravy and a don't care attitude regarding your health,
of course.

Thanks for the pointer. I'm an American who doesn't think out of the
box when it comes to yorkshire pudding. Pork roasts are rarer than
beef roasts in this house, but that's another story.

I did have Yorkshire pudding with a crown roast of pork once. It was
delicious!

David prefers beef roasts over pork. Unfortunately, heusually wins. :-)

Gawd... around these parts that would be considered abuse. Some of the kids
here are good. Some are bad. The brats across the street are terrors. I
wonder what would happen if they actually had some discipline. The kids
down the block are very well behaved. It is alway Mr. and please and thank
you with them. John and Sara pretty much have brought the up the way I
was. Respect your elders, everything was sir or ma'am and pleases and thank
yous were the norm. So if you've pinned the kid down to scare the [censored] out
of 'em to teach some manners, more power to you 😉

Michael <- spoils his brats to death. One of them is in Lauderdale with my
Visa and he is using it ;(

I absolutely love Toad in the Hole. I've actually cooked it a couple of
times. Have you tried the egg in a slice of bread? I had some Italian
slices I needed to use up and carved a round hold in them (I used a
glass) and poked an egg in them. Let them cook one one side for a bit and
flip the whole mess over. The bread was toasty nice and the egg was done
just right. I don't even know what this is called. I had to use a huge
skillet though.

Ever done chicken thighs with schmaltz? Oh Gawd... I baked them once in
schmaltz... Naturally they were delicious 😉 My arteries probably had a
rush though.

I had one on the old site. I am NOT a photogenic person. I've got a couple
