OK. I was wondering about your weight. I'm 5'6" and if I weighed in
the 130s even, I'd be skinny as a rail. I know, because I weighed 133
the day I joined the army.
According to www.dietitian.com, for someone my height and age, a
healthy weight range is 95 to 110 lbs. So I am definetly not
underweight, anorexic, or rail thin. I am at a BMI of 21. I tend
towards an apple shape, and my waist/hip ratio is just over 0.8
still... so that is another factor I have to consider. Being
prediabetic, it's healthier for me to get my waistline down a bit
more.
So I might end up floating down another 3-5 lbs - but if it happens
it'll be the consequence of running and healthy eating, not deliberate
or extreme dieting. I would never shoot for any weight under 100
though, because then I'd lose my chest... and I'd have a terrible time
finding clothes. I'd be shopping in the children's section, yuck. I
have too much of a taste for fashion to want to do that!
More likely, I'll start doing some weight training and gain a few lbs
back, but it'll be muscle.
