I came back too late. I followed instructions, but nobody heard my
repeated "Hi". Stupid Penguins. Outsourcing is going too far, at least
    they should be using parrots.

That's how I take my coffee when I drink it. Hmmm, I think I may just brew
a pot. Been ages since I had a cuppa!

Jill, I am having a cup of coffee with you! I hope I am not too late to
join you and I hop you are enjoying you special treat.

I had Paprikas Chicken made with only drumsticks the other day and it
was really good. I will make some today, but I will use chicken thighs,
which are my favorite parts. I have to use up some sour cream and I
also have a bunch of chicken gizzards in the freezer, that I will go
nicely with the thighs. Marcel will not touch it, he will get a loin
    veal chop.

    Hugs, M

Biscuits and sausage gravy, decaf coffee. I made the biscuits, DH made
the gravy. Finally some sunshine this morning, might shower later but it
sure looks like spring is around the corner. Snow melting fast, only
have about 1 foot of the white stuff in the forest around us. I don't
think I can use the excuse of trying to heat the house up for warmth by
    baking something.

<yawn> ///stretch... I just woke up and fed the dog and cats. I'm really
sore from yesterday from working in the garden and horseback riding. I
think I'll have some grapenuts with sliced strawberries and a glass of OJ.

Sore from horseback riding? You need to do it more often. We had a new
rider in our class yesterday. She hd taken lessons before and was getting
back into it. She was starting to feel it by the end of the lesson.
Breakfast after my lesson was two strips of crisp bacon and blueberry
buttermilk pancakes. This morning I was back to my standard weekday
    breakfast... oatmeal.

I'm not sure my breakfast has a name. Started out to be sourdough pancakes,
then I decided to add a banana to make banana pancakes; but, before I got
that far ... OK so what I had was:

    - butter melted in cast iron skillet
    - sprinkled with a bit of sugar
    - layered with sliced banana
    - sourdough pancake batter poured over the whole thing
    - cooked on stop top for a while then moved to broiler to finish

Turned out onto plate and cut into wedges - sort of a sourdough banana's
    foster-y upside down pancake

Served with a rasher of bacon and a pot of Eight 'o Clock brand 100%
Columbian coffee (ground just before brewing in my Bodum vacuum pot).

Even without a name, it was pretty tasty.

Ordinarily I'm not sore from riding unless I fall from taking a jump.
OTOH, I'm trying to learn Dressage on my friend's horse, which is trained
in it. I'm using muscles I did not even know existed ๐Ÿ˜‰ It's a good sore
though. Eventually I would like to train my horse on some of the Dressage
techniques. I think just about any horse benefits from this type of
    training.

Should've tossed in a shot of grand marnier and flambe'd that puppy!
