to describe in words, but I'll try. A picture of the crank, RD, or
skewers would probably nail it down, though. Skewers especially. C-
Record had the D-ring, and the snap-ring oil hole cover. Croce d'Aune
had the weird link rod on the RD. Chorus had the allen screws on the
RD to adjust the slant of the parallelogram. Athena had the
"monoplanar" brakes with one arm going through a hole in the other.
Thanks for the thoughtful reply. I've taken some of your comments and
gone looking for photos of components from that era, and I think that
many of the components on the bike are Croce d'Aune. The brakes
definitely are - they are definitely Delta Brakes, and what little
photos I've found from catalogues in that era seem to hold true for
the crank. The hubs are not, though. the rear hub isn't symmetrical
- it's fairly narrow on one side, and then gets really wide on the
drive side, right before the flange. I'm not really sure what year of
Croce d'Aune, though.
I've misplaced my USB cable for my camera (in the middle of moving) so
pictures are hard to post, but I will see what I can do.
Thanks,
Jason
