mavic pawl availability?

    advanced stage of disintegration. [the other was in perfect condition.]
    do you stock replacements?

    Dear Jim,

    There may be hope:

    "You can definitely replace just the pawls if needed. There is a kit
    available from Mavic (through your LBS) that will include two pawls and
    a few pawl springs (they are wise enough to assume that you may lose
    one or two in the process). I can't remember what the cost is, but it's
    not expensive."

    I don't see the kit on the wretched Mavic site, but you can try calling
    Mavic at 888-466-2842.

    yessir...I even had one new-ish Mavicwheel that had only one pawl in
    it...owner swears he didn't take it apart.
