things, folate pills could be an option.Kale is probably the best source

I eat this with every meal .So this is not always a garantee. Anyway thanks. Maybe I have to try the
folate pills together with B6 and B12.Quoted message said:

only a fair amount of vegetables. But no grains, beans, potatoes, dairy, or other Neolithic foods.

It sounds very well. You are sure this is mcmol/l and not mg/l ? Did you check also hemoglobin Hb
A1c ? Mine was 5,1 %. -

What level were you at before adopting the Paleolithic diet? -

If you want to emulate hunter-gatherers, then you need to walk miles each day as they did in search
of food. You can't talk about a Neolithic diet without taking into account their total way of life.
They ate what was available to them. That does not mean that foods not available to them are bad for
you. We are a species adaptable to many foods. You say you follow a Neolithic diet -- do you also do strenuous exercise each day, without fail?

I eat lots of grains, fruit, vegetables, nuts, some legumes, and my diet is high-carb and very low
meat. I eat fish three times a week. My homocysteine level at last test was 5.9Mel

One supplement that you should consider is Trimethylgycine (TMG) also known as anhydrous betaine
which seems to help in stubborn cases where folate, B6 and B12 alone have not. It helps to convert
homocystein to methionine via a methylation process. LEF has a recent article that you may wish to
read on the subject at the following link:lef.orgnov2003 awsi 01.htmlOpen ↗

Did you address that to me? My homocysteine level is 5.9
By the way, I am a member of LEF. Have you tried their toothpaste? Not bad. But I wonder how the
toothpaste is helping to prevent gum disease because of CoQ-10 when after you rinse your mouth,
there goes the CoQ-10.Mel

How much of an indicator is a good homocysteine level? I mean, my level is
5.9 and how safe am I from getting a heart attack?I'm 61 and this 22 year old blonde is really after me but I am concerned about having a heart attack
so I am avoiding her. Do you think it's safe for me...?Mel

Let me look... I don't see it. Is this something one has to ask for? The only reason I had
homocystein measured was I asked for it. Next time I'll ask for CRP.Don <donwiss at panix.com>.

I don't know. I only have the one test from about 1 3/4 years ago.

"I've just had 2 ladies with homocysteine of 6.0 and 5.9." I asked about their diet. He wrote: "one

the levels become raised in the blood. Take a good B vitamin complex. B vitamins are water soluble
and any excess will wash away in the urine. There are no side effects to speak of, except for
yellower urine. It is safe and deals with the underlying problem, which is a B vitamin deficiency.TC

you have any adverse affect to diary before you removing it from your diet? What caused you to go to
a neolithic diet? What positive/negative changes did you observe?
