  1. Okay, I haven't seen these here yet (I haven't made a thorough search),
    so
it seems I have to be the one to post them.

    1. Pro Cycling magazine had a cover featuring "The Basso Code". The
    answer
should come out in the next issue, "Brillo".

    2. Vinokourov's new team is now completely Wurthless.

I get the 2nd joke completely.

I also have seen the messages regarding Operacion Puerto and that
Brillo is code for Basso. Are there any sources that can explain this
connection in more detail? I just want to be able to tell the joke and
    really "get it" myself.

    Think "tugboat". It's Basso's dog.

But it is reported that Ivan Basso's two year old daughter is givibg their

When I read that report about his lawyer saying that his daughter calls

  6. Yes, since both Basso and Ullrich reacted to their suspensions by
    stating
that they would now prove their innocence, it seems clear that the
    current
situation is that riders are guilty until proven innocent.

If that defense doesn't work, will they give the daughter up for adoption?

I'm afraid you're wrong. Ullrich and Sevilla said they wanted (or intended)
to prove their innocence. But it was the direction of T-Mobile who presented
an ultimatum. As Christian Frommert, director of sports communications at
T-Mobile said the second of july: if Ullrich could prove his innocence,
possibly by means of a DNA-test, we could discuss a possible reintegration
    in the team (see
    http://www.faz.net/s/Rub9CD731D06F17450CB39BE001000DD173/Doc~E6C7BD085F08441D78BE32BD970AD6C83~ATpl~Ecommon~Scontent.html.
Of course, to prove his innocence is quite impossible, even if the evidence
is available - which is not the case.

Who needs proof? All that counts is the impression that everybody involved
in cycling is making an impression to be dead against "doping". And if Basso
isn't on Fuentes's list, that's too bad. But you just can't make an omelette

It is impossible to prove ones innocence. What can be proven is that the
particular allegation is false. The more detailed and specific that allegation
is, the easier this is done. Apparently there are specifics for which Jan has no
    answer.
