his inability to control himself and that he HAD to respond, why stop
at a head-butt to the chest? In my world, if someone insults you or
your family such that violence is required as a response, you stomp
their ass into a mud puddle, then you stomp it dry.

number of Hi-Zoot soccer matches previously for violence infractions,
including one notable infraction for head-butting another player.

According to the interviews I saw with Zidane yesterday, the insult was
about Zidane's mother and sister. He never mentioned his father.

That's totally believable because Materazzi has a real penchant for
North African history. I've heard that most pro soccer teams also hold
multilingual swearing sessions to ensure that trash talk is appropriatly
culturally insensitive.
