Nothing, because the biggest upset of the season happened just today; Nys
    didn't win!

We taught Heather's kid about dating.

Fat Stevie wears a diaper when he eats.

Tom's doctors have found the right mix of medications.

Heather is old enough to have a kid who is old enough to learn about
dating on RBR? My world is shattered!

But that's Rule No. 1 of Life - don't [censored] where you eat.

    You mean he left RBR?

I'll watch that when I'm well out of the way of any other human beings...

Almost. Two times his derailleur slammed up at places on the course from
where he had to run a rather long way. To be fair, Wellens was always
challenging, keeping Nys dangling behind him a few meters more than
necessary. Nys did make up 30 sec in the last lap but Wellens had quite
the comfortable lead on Dlask by then.

We taught Heather's kid about dating.

i went to my son's report card conference last week, and got to
experience watching girls flirt with him. i forgot how 13 year old girls
flirt, it was funny, in a good way. (but then not so funny, his english
teacher started to tell me it was my duty to have more children just
    like him...help!)

he got dumped by his first gf, so he found another one. he said that he
was pretty sure two different girls would say "yes", so he asked the
hotter one of the two out. so see, he doesn't need any advice from us...

unrelated to all that- robert, you probably have already read a similar
story, but here's a link for you anyway

Well, I'm flattered, of course, but I'm afraid I must decline your
    intriguing offer.

Aha. Did she say, "we need to talk"? I found out (not first hand) that not
only do French girls say "we need to talk" but they also say "can we still
    be friends?"

Yeah. Levitt has a response on his blog. The error was pretty embarrassing
since Levitt made his reputation in applying econometric models to social
data (rather like Becker) but there's a bunch of other
    sociological/anthropological/demographic evidence that seems consistent
with the unwantedness hypothesis. In some sense, Levitt's work mostly
brought this stuff to the attention of economists (and thus, The
Economist) but it doesn't affect the microlevel data.

Well, I for one need a cold shower.

I must say I appreciated Heather's tie-in of Levitt with the lesbian
    scenario.

Maybe the group could come up with some
buckage and commission you to write something like "Confessions of a Bisexual
    Bike Racer".

funny, but nope. part of why i suck as a writer is i'm only capable of
writing stuff that really happened or that seems true to me (i've no
imagination). but there's plenty of that other stuff already out
    there...(that can't be news to you 😉

By "soft white skin", do you mean that pasty kind of skin texture or was it
    nice?

lol, what i meant will be clear if you spend the next 30 days touching
and kissing nothing but men, and then go back to girls. so yes, it was nice.
