    No junk.

Meaning what, exactly? "Junk" is a subjective term that's going to vary
    from person to person.

we could pretend that it could mean anything and different things
to different people, but most people mean low fat. in other
words...clean. they visualize that burned bbq fat and find
it kind of disgusting. they mean fruits and vegetables.
less red meat. junk is subjective but there is plenty that
is not open to debate...white bread, hot dogs, macdonald
burgers. it's pretty obvious to everyone what is good
for them and what is bad.

Thanks for the reply. I know what eating 'no junk' means.
I just was puzzled at what clean eating meant. :-)

I'd vote for that. Yes, low fat, but I'll also throw in low sodium as
well as reduced sugar (white death). In general, I'd say that clean
eating would be absent of processed foods.

It is a moral term for those folks who look at food as morality.

If you "sin", you are "bad".

And this comes from eating "dirty" food, rather than "clean" food.

Very important for folks who think in terms of fairy tales and simplistic
    blather.

Ergo, if you eat "clean" food, you are virtuous.

    I find such drivel nauseous.

At one time, it was "obvious to everyone" that the earth was flat, and
that the sun revolved around the earth. It was "not open to debate,"
and if you questioned it, you could be prosecuted as a heretic.

    sucrose is "white death"?

I'm suggesting that pop fitness notions of what is "good" and "bad"
are very simplistic. Those notions are not always, or even often,
accurate. Some folks like simplistic notions; those people can "eat
clean" and go to the gym to "tone."

Historically, the level of discussion in MFW has been a bit beyond
that. Unfortunately, there has been a recent influx of dissidents who
are intent on "dumbing down" that discussion to the lowest common
denominator. The results of those efforts are becoming more apparent
    every day.

Are you implying she'd cohabitate with you? Sorry, she's a confirmed
lesbian, that's why I took the big OP, so she and I could be together.

I suspect you could Google, especially since there's more than one of
you, right, Mr. Us? But I also suspect you're too lazy for that, so
allow me to do the work for you:

Hey, as a starving troll, though, refined sugar is, perhaps, better
