My feet haven't failed me but my immune system has. The flu, a cold and now a third virus in less than 2 months is telling me that even 16 mile long runs are too much for me right now.
Hope the weather is more cooperative for those that participate this year.

I see an attractive lady in a low cut dress that I might conjure some lascivious thoughts about but for decency standards I stop there. Is there someone else I should notice? -Doug

No she's the one, you don't remember her from her TV news spot before Boston last year? You said something about wanting to find her in your X-mas stocking.

I'm in a similar boat - flu and immuno-weakness has mostly sidelined me for over 2 weeks now. So many factors are involved: sleep issues over time, times of stress, too much exposure running in the cold. If you got the same flu I did, it lingers on for too long.

I'm sure he says that about anything with two X chromosomes and a pulse. ;-)
Run Boston even if you are not 100%. The crowds and the atomshere will carry you a long way. The last 10k is hard, but they all are. I'm kind of in the same boat excpt my boat departs Hyannis @10am sunday. Just below my right knee that band is a little swollen and stiff, but you know what? I'm going to run and take it easy in the begining and if I feel fine will pick the pace up. I want to run under 3:15 which shouldn't be a problem, but its a marathon and anthing can happen. So just go run Boston and have a FUN run if you don't feel 100%. Happy Tapering, Scott cenral mass strider
