I would like to invite Mr. Elvis to submit a photo of himself.

The young lady was first, now it is your turn. You stupid dead rocker. If you are too ugly for anyone to look at, then show us your dog of a girlfriend if you even have one. We can make fun of her, it will be great fun.

Tell us about yourself. How old are you? Are you in school? Anything else?
Don't hide behind a pseudonym. Come out and reveal yourself.
I promise not to be nasty.
Alan
You first
Sure.
My name is Alan Meyer. I'm 58 years old, married, two children aged 31 and 28. I've been to college and graduate school, studying philosophy and information science. I'm interested in computers, politics, history, literature, philosophy and photography. I like to play chess, read books, and listen to music.
I currently work as a computer consultand, doing programming for the National Cancer Institute and the National Library of Medicine.
As you can see, telling people who I am does not embarrass me in any way and it really shouldn't embarrass you to do the same. After all, why should we be ashamed of who we are?
My Olympus C5050 seems to have developed a hot pixel - a white spot that shows up fairly clearly. Unfortunately, when I try the pixel remapping function of the camera, the spot remains.
Unless someone can tell me of tricks to get the remapping to work better, I guess it is off to pay Olympus a huge amount of money. Sigh.
Alan

Whadaya expect posting to a mountain biking news group? :-)
All that education, and you STILL can't spell...;+}
Spelling nazis -- the scum of usenet.
And. just as information, your three-dot ellipsis should have been followed by a question mark, with a space before the smiley. See you in trping school.

Isn't the ellipsis a character, to be preceded by a space? Correct me if I'm falling short .
_The one-L lama, he's a priest;_ _The two-L llama, he's a beast;_ _I will bet a pink pajama_ _That there is no three-L lllama ._

What is "trping school" ?? Is that anything like typing ??

Alas, my youth was misspent. However in this particular case it was probably typing class, rather than spelling class, where I was not paying sufficient attention.
Worse than all that though, I fear we have scared off our poor dear Flying Elvis. I'd hate to think that we have consigned him to the hell of anonymous chat rooms. But perhaps he will still emerge okay.
I guess I'll give up this diversion and return to digital photography.

Yeah. Three strikes in one sentence -- he's out.

You'll be sadly disappointed to judge a woman on looks, because at 70 those looks just won't be there. Pick a woman on inner beauty, and not only will she still have it at 70, she'll likely be more beautiful. I've been married for 15 years by having picked a person who is the most
Never has the phrase "Get a Life" been more appropriate. This girl has way more potential than you do.
It's obvious that you posted just to draw a response, but you give the word "shallow" it's definition.
It seems to me most people of all genders grow out of their extremely judgemental phase, somewhere around puberty. I assume F-ing Elvis is below the chronological age, or stuck below it socially and psychologically, and that one day he will realize his folly and be tortured by a need to apologize to all and sundry for his offensive acts.
Good F-ing luck, F-ing Elvis.
You're probably right on all counts.
Another possibility is that the photo is really of F-ing Elvis, and she's trolling for compliments.
But, nah, she's got too open looking a face to be that devious.

Of course I could be wrong: he may never grow beyond the juvenile stage of development. More's the pity.
Actually the photo is the girl in F/Elvis's high school class - whom he's had the hots for all year, but who has rejected his shallow no-life self over and over - so now he's posted her photo up here in the hope we'll say how ugly she is to make him feel better about having been rejected by her.

If that were true, he would have posted a picture of her brother.
