I know the part is trivial to replace but the smog guy did it for free
and only charged me $30 for the part. Unfortunately the code came back.

I went through this nightmare last year (or the year before). Kept
replacing parts, and several days later the damn Check Engine light was
back on... this time with a additional codes!

Frig'n drove me mad... after about a lot $$ down the toilet, I finally
gave up and went to the Nissan dealer with my tail between my legs.
Ironically, I wanted to avoid the dealer after being screwed by two
other Nissan dealers, this dealer turned out to have excellent customer
service, prices, and was honest. They were the only ones who fixed the
problem for good. And I've since been back for other preventative
maintenance stuff since.... finally, a good dealer :-)

Btw, regardless if you borrow or buy the code reader, they are a pretty
cool tool. I bought one of these
