I've been using the Deuce XC (the lighter ones) for four weeks now and
like them a lot. I like them better than the XT's I've had in the past
and even better than the XTR's I am using on another bike. It's not so
much the crank as it is the bottom bracket. I think both brands use the
X-ype and the race face one is smooth as butter!

Lifetime warranty on Raceface Deus.

I've had good experiences with their warranty department.

I've been running RF Deus for over 6 mos. and haven't yet had a problem.
Solid. My only issue was getting the correct spacers on the bottom bracket.
The instructions tell you what thickness to use on certain BB widths, but my
experience on my deKerf was something different. Of course, YMMV.

Yeah but these are integrated BB cranks so some questions that apply here
are:

Would you trust a "trimmed down version" of the Turbine LPs that are the
lightest cranks RF has ever made?
Do you have any experience with the Integrated BBs.

My answers are No and Yes respectively.

I used to go through Shimano square taper and splined BBs quite often but so
far the integrated BB on the Shimano M760 cranks is working out just fine
for me. Not a peep out of the it since I installed it last March and last
summer I was riding harder and more often than ever.

The only complaint I have about the M760 crankset is that the middle ring
had some major problems with chainsuck right from the start and wore out
awful fast in wet gritty spring conditions. This chainsuck seems to be a
common complaint about the XT rings so I swapped a steel Deore ring onto it
an that seems to have solved the problem.

I was in the LBS on Sun and buddy was working there and another $20 came
off the XT price. I couldn't pass it up. I had chainsuck so bad I
dreaded any gear combo that put any extra slack in the chain.

Slapped `em on as soon as I got home, along with a new wipperman and
cassette. Had to go out later, so I didn't even get to test ride it in
the driveway.
Packed up for a pre-work ride next morning, totally untested. Well, they
are [censored] (xcuse me, but it's the best compliment I could come up with).

I know it's always the same with new cranks/BB, "They're sooo
smooth....", but these really are :-)

Actually what's really nice is they require minimal touque to install,
bearing caps are labelled with tightening directions for dislexic goons
like myself.

Impeccable perfect shifting 1st time out. How often does that happen?

I swear they made my rig feel 5 lbs lighter. Well, at least until the
enthusiasm wore off after the 15th aneroebic hill climb :-)
