winter gloves - Impossible?

Maybe you think, but obviously not very hard. Snow is the white fluffy
stuff. If it's cold enough to ski comfortably, the snow stays that way
without melting the instant you stick your hand in.

Mind you, I've done fine in pretty severe weather in non-waterproof ski
gloves. They were thick enough that my hands were in a pool of warm
body-temperature water, which is yuck but a lot better than frozen
