Yeah - soon he'll start telling us that Hollowtech is great, tapered
cranks are inherently dangerous and he actually likes STI cabling

I've been advised not to do this, as I will get dirty, and the

Perhaps we have all grossly underestimated our friend Mr. Brandt. I have
long suspected that he gets a special pleasure from watching all of the
gyrations and shouting that his style and content spawn here. This post
would seem to indicate that he is letting us in on his sense of play.

Does the white part of the tapir connect to the bottom bracket spindle,
and the dark gray part to the crank, or is it the other way around?

Careful. The snout angle on these Asian (Japanese standard, JIS) tapirs
is slightly different from the other types. And make sure to wipe that
grease of the backs of them (see photograph), before assembling. /Robert

dacey's query reminds me oif several 'funny' stories-

one-first time thru miami in years, was there pre mariel back tomthe
'50's. nice.

then walked away from the volvo to the muffler shop office, turned

during the last palm beach storm much of miami evacuated-here to the
west coast boondocks. they, young hispanic moderns driving spiffy late
model asian coupes with stolen 'mag' wheels were lined up at the few
gas stations along one of 'our' more fashionable blvds and looked 20
degrees out of phase across the fiberglass.

every coin operated machine in town stopped working.
