I've heard this often enough to understand it's common - but thus far it's completely foreign to my experience. I am always, always, always ready to mow down a big meal after a long run, and 80-ish mpw (or my brief stint at 90-ish earlier this year) hasn't exactly suppressed my appetite. Not inclined to try and prove it, but I've felt like I could, if required, easily enough eat more of the wrong stuff and put on weight at 80+ mpw.

I'm in your camp -- definitely have big carb cravings after a long run.
I'm not so much up for heavy solid food, but definitely a good smoothie.
