the human gut wouldn't take it.

Small oranges often have more vit C than larger ones. Wild fruits
often have a lot more vit C than their cultivated varieties. You can't
compare a wild raw diet to eating modern cultivated supermarket fruit.

General Info: the average HUMAN needs a modicum of 250 mg per hour of

Even Linus Pauling's book "Cancer and Vitamin C" points out (p125) that
white cells are saturated with Vitamin C at an intake of 150 mgm per day.

The pharamacokinetics of Vitamin C have now been more thoroughly worked out
and it is clear that the amount absorbed from the bowel decreases rapidly,
urinary output becomes very high, and cellular stores are completely
saturated at about 1 G/ day oral intake.

Primates eat MANY items that ALL contain forms of Vit C "COMPLEX".
( including leaves) don't worry about them...they're just fine and BALANCED
as well. Worry about yourself an UN-balanced HUMAN without the good sense
to quit eating JUNK ( all varieties) as well as writing it?? LOL! B-0b1
